Is there a shred of evidence that Trump 2.0 has the capacity or intelligence to do any such thing? I don’t see it anywhere. I just see naked partisanship and hackery, with a healthy dose of blundering incompetence and vile retribution.
While I wasn’t that senior AF official Jen mentioned, I admit I’ve said something similar.
But it’s time to move beyond the “but [fill in the blank Department/Agency] could use some trimming or reform.”
That’s a given. Saying it out loud gives an excuse to the human tornado tearing through the government right now. What’s happening now is ‘planned chaos.’ Taking a wrecking ball to the entire federal government, completely absent any coherent strategy or vision.
The words out of all the front offices belie the hatchet job actions underway.
