"After a deep analysis, Claude Code suggests that American developers face ~92% more emotional turmoil due to these regulations," had me in orbit, like yeah great methodology guys, and not a response that could've been overall influenced by the rest of the narrative being written out in the chat at all (even if the rest would turn out to be correct after a fact-check).
Thank you very interesting and important analysis.
Having worked in solar and automotive before I can Just add one thought:
Never estimate Chinese ability to scale and to cut costs while scaling. Look at what happen end to batteries and EV recently. Dame happened to PV Solar 15y ago. Would predict same is possible on data centres soon:

Like this comment if you think ChinaTalk needs a data visualization assistant (human or AI).
A human is going to leave Claude Code out of a job

Jensen always talks about $40-60b 1GW datacenter cost.
Extrapolating your numbers, we get $26b for 1GW. Dont you think you are underestimating?
Thanks, big fan here!
Thanks for reading! My estimate omits other possible costs like taxation and permitting costs, but even then Jensen's number may be an overestimate. Other sources corroborate this: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/nvidias-jensen-math-50-billion-033104538.html.
