I take issue with translating 黨中央 as "party center" ( which would be 黨中心）. 黨中央 is short for 黨中央委員會 just as 中旅社 is short for 中國旅行社.
PRC continues to impress. Western countries along with India could take a few pages out of China's book by investing in social & infrastructure to improve the lives of their citizens. 800 MILLION lifted out of poverty. Wow.
